Turner has been filed in the probate court together with a petition that it be admitted into probate. The petition estimates the value of the estate at $15,000, $10,000 real and $5,000 personal. The original will is dated December 5, 1891, and to it, there is attached a codicil dated April 25, 1893. The original will makes a provision for the divison of the shares of the A.B. Turner company among the children and cancels notes by Willard S. Turner and Lily E. Milmine for the purchase of stock in the company. The codicil made because of the death among the members of the family, provides that the shares of the stock should be divided equally among the four surviving children. To the widow is given the homestead on Shelton street as well as the residue of the entire estate, but Mrs. Turner having died since the will was made, her shares will revert to the other heirs. Additional Comments: Aaron was the son of Isaac and Eunice (Bullis) Turner. Aaron Beaman Turner was the publisher of the Grand Rapids Eagle, former Postmaster of Grand Rapids and active in politics. His daughter, Amelia, wife of Frank Godfrey, and his wife, Sally nee Sibley, preceeded him in death. The family is interred in the Fulton Street Cemetery.
