Her death has caused great sorrow among her many friends and relatives. Mrs. Bomers was a former Grattan girl, having spent all her life there until she went to Grand Rapids where she was married to Jerry Bomers Aug. 16, 1917. She is survived by her husband, father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. W. Rhoades of Grattan, two bothers, Verne and Elter of Grand Rapids, three sisters, Mrs. Seymour Lyons, Mrs. Elmer Slowinski, and Mrs. Glen Spicer. Funeral services were held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. Bomers, 1051 Sherman street, Grand Rapids, Friday, March 27, and at the Christian Reformed church on Thomas street; interment in Garfield Park cemetery.
