Cedar Springs Clipper - 4 Jan 1893
DIED at his home in Nelson, Wednesday, December 28, of pnuemonia, Milton J. DURFEY,
aged 62. 

Milton J. DURFEY was born 18 Sep 1830 in Oswego Co, NY. He was married to Sarah M.
STORER 8 April 
1849 and continued his residence at his native place until 8 Dec 1869, when he moved
to Michigan and 
settled on the farm where he has since lived. He was the father of five children,
only one son, Albert, 
surviving him. He leaves a wife, one son and eight grandchildren to mourn for him.
He was highly 
respected by all his acquaintances and will be much missed from the neighborhood.
Funeral at the Cong 
Church December 31, conducted by Rev. W.H. FRINT. Remains were interred in the DeCau
Cemetery.
