Edward Fenske, 69, Dies of Heart Attack

Edward H. Fenske, 69, of 1254 Mayfield av, NE, a retired machinist, suffered a 
fatal heart attack early Wednesday while parking his car in the family garage.



Mrs. Fenske said she had gone to bed after the couple returned home about 1 
a.m., but awoke at 4 a.m. to discover her husband missing.



Mr. Fenske, a lifelong resident of Grand Rapids, retired in 1956 after more 
than 30 years of employment at the Imperial Products Co.  He was a veteran of 
World war I and member of American Legion post No. 47.



Survivors include his wife, May I.; a stepson, James L. Volotira; two sisters, 
Mrs. John Jarecki and Mrs. Ray Roskamp, all of Grand Rapids; two brothers, 
Harold of Grant and Frank of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and two grandchildren.



Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the VanStrien-Alman funeral home 
with Rev. Robert Lignell of Faith Lutheran church officiating.  Burial will be 
in Fairplains cemetery.
