GIDDINGS IS BURIED SATURDAY Sand Lake was sadden by the death of Mrs. Frances Ethel Giddings, wife of Tracy Giddings, which occurred Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 1, at the family Home west of Sand Lake. She had been ill several months. Mrs. Giddings was a native of Chicago, born there Jan. 1, 1889, the daughter of the late Jasper and Hattie Dodge. Educated musically, Mrs. Giddings was a piano teacher for many years. She was quiet in nature, devoted to her home and family, and loved by a wide circle of friends. Coming to Sand Lake as a child, she had spent all of her life in this community. The funeral was held at the Sand Lake Methodist Church Saturday, and burial was in Sand Lake cemetery. Rev. Leota Frye conducted the service.
