Dale Gross, age 91 passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 1999. He was born Sept. 30, 1907, in Kent County to William and Etta (Root)Gross. For 27 years he worked at Kelvinator, retiring in 1972, and prior to that he worked at Wolverine World Wide. Dale was a member of the Cedar Spring United Methodist Church, served on the Algoma Fire Department for about 22 years, and was a member of the Oddfellows. He was preceded in death by his wife, Leta; his sister, Mrs. Martha Solomon and Mrs. Ruby Mason; a brother, W.(William) Earl Gross; and in-laws, Stanley and Vivian Becker and Carl Becker. The Service for Mr. Gross will be held this afternoon. Thursday, June 24, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Ben Lester officiating. Interment in Algoma Township Cemetery.
