Born: January 8, 1919, Grand Rapids, to George and Cecil Ross
Education: Graduate of Central High School.  
“As a young woman, she lived for a time in Australia and was a violinist with 
the Bittersweet Ensemble.”
Volunteer: Eastern Orthopedic School.  
Occupation: Kent County Library System, working primarily at the East Grand 
Rapids branch until her retirement about 15 years ago.  
Deceased husband: Orson C., married 52 years, who died in 1994
Deceased sister,:Dorothy Davison
Deceased daughter-in-law: Jane Roberson Grant
Surviving 1 son:
Surviving three daughters:
Surviving 6 grandchildren:
Surviving 3 great grandchildren:
Surviving two sisters:
Surviving 1 brother-in-law:
Also surviving: several nieces and nephews
Funeral Service: Friday (10 Jul 1998) at 1 PM in Metcalf & Jonkhoff Chapel, 
4291 Cascade Rd. SE.  
Interment will be at Graceland Memorial Park.
