MRS. HOLLIDAY OF SOLON DIES

Mrs. Augusta Holliday, 57 wife of Frant Holliday passed away at her family home in 
Solon township Wednesday, November 17. She had been in poor health for a long time. 
She was born in Germany but came to Grand Rapids when a child, then to Solon 
township where she spent most of her life.

She was married in 1898 to Frant Holliday. Two children were born to them; Clifford at 
home and Mrs. Mamie Fisk of Solon. Other survivors are: a sister Mrs. Emory Goodell of 
Solon; three brothers, August Zank of Rockford, Henry Zank of Cedar Springs and 
Charles Zank of Ensley; and four grandchildren.

A prayer service will be held at the Holliday home Friday afternoon at 1:45, with funeral 
services at the Solon Center Church at 2:30. Burial will be in the Solon cemetery. The 
Walsh Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
