Born in St. Mary's Ont., he moved here with his parents at the age of 2. He was employed by the Pennsylvania railroad from 1912 until his retirement in May, 1949. He was a member of Borie lodge, F&AM and attend Southern Congregational church. Surviving are his wife, Ursula; two sons, Willard W. Hatton of Sparta and Walter Meyers of Detroit; a daughter, Hazel E Myers of Grand Rapids; a brother, William of Tawas city, and two sisters, Mrs Miles Main of Goodrich and Eva Hatton of Flint. Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. i the Eggebeen chapel. Rev. Earl Collins, pastor of South Congregational church, will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery, Sparta.
