FRED MEINKE OF SOLON PASSES

Fred John Meinke, aged 69, a resident of Solon township for about five 
years, passed away at his farm home Monday morning following a long 
illness. During his few years' residence in Solon, Mr. Meinke had made a 
great many friends. He was a good neighbor, and highly respected by all 
who knew him.

Funeral services were held at the Immanuel Lutheran church in Grand Rapids 
Wednesday afternoon with interment in Rosedale cemetery, T. J. Blanchard 
was in charge of arangements.

Surviving are the widow, Emilie; three daughters, Miss Elsie Meinke at 
home, Mrs. Minnie Heering and Mrs. Freda Frazer, of Grnad Rapids; a son 
Fred and a brother William, both of Grand Rapids; and three grandchildren.
