MONTGOMERY-Mrs. Sylvia Montgomery, aged 74, of 2659 Alpine av., NW, passed
away at her residence Wednesday noon. Surviving are her husband, Henry
Montgomery; a sister, Miss Edith Brown of Grand Rapids; a brother, Delbert
A. Brown of Oakland, Calif.; three step-daughters, Mrs. Fannie Rose of
Coopersville, Mrs. Gertrude Higbee and Miss Ruth Montgomery, both of Grand
Rapids; two step-sons, Ross and Murray montgomery, both of Grand Rapids,
and a nephew and several nieces. Mrs. Montgomery was a member of the Scribner
Avanue Baptist church and the West Side Ladies' Literary club. Funeral
services will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock at Van'tHof's Chapel.
Rev. G R. Harris officating. Interment Riverside cemetery in Saugatuck.
Mrs. Montgomery reposes at the funeral home where relatives and friends
may meet the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. on friday.
