FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. SOPHIA MYERS HELD THURSDAY

Mrs. Sophia Myers, 78 widow of Henry Myers and a resident of this area
for 52 years, died at her home east of here Tuesday morning after a long
illness.

She was born in Sweden and came to this country 65 years ago. She was confirmed
at Mamrelund Lutheran church and belonged to the East Sparta Ladies Aid
society.

Funeral services will be held at the residence at 2 p. m. Thursday. Burial
will be in Myers cemetery, the Rev. J. R. Stevens of Flint, officiating.
