Donald L. "Donnie" Magoon 		  
MAGOON - Mr. Donald "Donnie" L. Magoon, aged 66, of Grand Rapids, passed away on
Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at Heartland Health Care. Donnie was a 1955 graduate of
Rockford High School, a member of the Alano Club of Kent Co., a regular attender
of A.A. and a life-long electrician. His family would like to thank the staff
and members of the Alano Club of Kent County for their friendship and love. He
loved the sport of baseball, following it on TV, especially the Tigers and also
coaching little league. Deep inside Donnie was a very caring person who enjoyed
the simple things in life. Preceding him in death were his parents, Willis "Til"
in 1972 and Evelyn (nee Gross) in 2002. The service for Donnie will be Friday
afternoon at 1 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Williams of White Pine
United Methodist Church officiating. Burial in Algoma Twp. Cemetery. Those
planning expressions of sympathy are asked to consider the Alano Club of Kent
County or Heartland Hospice. Friends may celebrate Donnie's life with his family
from 7 to 9 PM Thursday at the funeral home. The Pederson Funeral Home, Rockford
