Grand Rapids Herald, 12 Dec 1941:  Mrs. Viola H. Morningstar, aged 84, widow 
of William H. Morningstar, passed away Thursday afternoon at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. Robert Brenner, 937 Davis Avenue, NW.  Surviving are the 
daughter and a brother, Matt Davis, Rockford.  Mrs. Morningstar reposes at the 
Alt Mortuary, where funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 2 
o'clock.  Interment in Straight Cemetery, Algoma Township.

Wife of William H. Morningstar; daughter of Alanson Davis & Malinda (House) 
Davis.
