Forrest Norman's obituary, Rockford, Kent County, Michigan SUBMITTER: Denny Zank EMAIL: dennyzank@ameritech.net DATE: March, 7, 2004 NORMAN (Rockford)- Mr. Forrest "Shorty Norman, age 80, passed away on Wednesday evening, August 11,1999 at Metron of Belding. As a mechanic Mr. Norman kept the equipment fit and running for many construction and farm operations while he worked at LW Edison Morrissey Equipment plus several others. He was a proud member of the Operating Engineers Local #324. His favorite color on equipment was John Deere Green and that special commitment spilled over into Greasey Fingers Two Cylinder Club (John Deer Tractor Club), where he was a member. Mr. Norman also farmed. The Service for Mr. Norman will be Saturday afternoon at 1:00 o'clock at the funeral home with Pastor Bob DeWeese officiating. Intermnet in Courtland Twp. Cemetery.
