Norman, age 90, passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2007, while wintering in Edinburg, Texas. He served his country during WWII and was a member of the VFW Post #3946, and member of the Michigan State Grange. Mr. Norman was a gentleman who loved to farm. After he sold his farm, he continued t sell Vigrotone Feed Supplements to area farmers. He enjoyed Golfing, going to auction sales, restoring antiques, and traveling. Seeing the world and learning new things were important to him. A deliberate person, Mr. Norman would think tings out. He was a father who taught his children everything they would need to know about life. He was preceded in death by a brother, Forrest A. Norman on August 11, 1999. The service of Mr. NOrman will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Chuck Smith officiating. Military honors will be under the auspices of the Kent County Veteran's Honor Guard with interment in Courtland Township Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider memorials to VFW Post #3946. Friends may meet with the Norman family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
