Ionia County News, Thurs., July 13, 1961
Glenn A. Reimer, 78, of Grand Rapids, a retired officer of Michigan National 
Bank and prize winning gardener, died Sunday, July 2, at Munson hospital in 
Traverse City.

Mr. Reimer was born in Palo and began his banking career in 1917 in Grand 
Rapids as a 'teller.' He was named branch manager in 1920 for the City Trust 
and Savings Bank.

He is survived by his wife, Anna and two cousins.

Services were held on Thursday, July 6, a the Greenhoe Chapel, Creston 
Mortuary. Rev. Victor Barnett of Wealthy Street Baptist church officiated. 
Interment was in the Palo cemetery in Palo.
