Grand Rapids Press - 9 December 1919
SMITH - Franklin Deforrest Smith, aged 73 years, died Monday evening at his 
home in Alpine Township. Besides the widow he is survived by one son, Herbert 
of Muskegon; four daughters, Jessie Barlow of Suffex Grove, Pa; Luela Taubert 
of Manitowoc, Wis., and Emma Kaiser of Plainfield township, Edyth Smith of 
this city.  Funeral will be eld from the residence Thursday at 2 o'clock.  
Interment in Alpine cemetery.
