Rockford Register 17 Jun 1915
Rockford Register, Thurs 17 Jun 1915:  Mrs. Sarah Tompsett, wife of George 
Tompsett, passed away at their summer home at Bay View Friday evening after a 
couple of years of sickness.  For the past two months, she has been worse than 
usual but was able to go to Bay View.  Dr. E.B. Strong was called and left on 
the afternoon train but it was too late for medical aid.  Mrs. Tompsett was a 
resident of this section for many years and had made many friends who will 
deeply sympathize with the bereaved husband and daughter.  The funeral was 
held from the late home on Main Street South Tuesday afternoon.  Rev. D.E. 
Birtch of Coopersville officiating and the interment was made in the Rockford 
Cemetery.  

Additional Comments:
Sarah (House) Tompsett was the daughter of James W. House and Calista A. 
(Shaw) House.
