Grand Rapids Herald, Tuesday, Mar 15, 1938:  TOMPSETT, George Tompsett, aged 
85, of 1241 Armstrong, passed away Sunday night.  Surviving are one daughter, 
Mrs. Maude Peterson, 3 grandchildren, Mrs. M.E. Sights, Chicago, George 
Peterson, Indianapolis, Ind., Aileen Peterson, and one great-granddaughter.  
Funeral services Wednesday 2 PM at Hubbard's funeral home, Rockford.  
Interment at Rockford Cemetery.
