Two obits

LAKE RESORT OWNER DIES
MRS. HARVEY CLARKE, 59, HEART VICTIM

   Funeral services for Mrs. Harvey Clarke, 59, owner with her husband of the
Olin Lakes resort, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Van'tHof Chapel.
Mrs.Clarke died unexpectedly of a heart attack Wednesday evening at her home,
2033 Melta av., NE.

   A nephew, Rev. Carl Vanden Burg Jr., of the Methodist church in Panted Post,
N.Y. will officiate at the services.

   Mrs. Clarke, a Grand Rapids native, operated the Olin Lakes resort with her
husband 29 years.

   In addition to her husband she is survived by five brothers, William
VandenBerg of Rochester Minn, Carl of Grand Rapids, John of Coldwater, Harry of
Port Orchard, Wash., and Philip of trufant and three sisters, Mrs. Cornelius
DeZwaan, Mrs Katherin Sauer all of Grand Rapids. Burial will be in Restlawn
Memorial Park.

FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. HARVEY CLARKE HELD LAS SATURDAY

   Funeral services for Mrs. Harvey Clarke, 59, owner with her husband of the
Olin Lakes resort near Cedar Springs, were held Saturday afternoon in the Van't
Hof Funeral Home.

   Mrs. Clarke died unexpectedly of a heart attack last Wednesday evening at her
home in Grand Rapids.

  A nephew, Rev. Carl Van DerBerg, Jr., of the Methodist church in Painted Post,
N.Y. officiated at the services.

   Mrs. Clarke, a native of Grand Rapids, operated the Olin Lakes resort with
her husband for 29 years.

   Surviving are her husband, five brothers, William VandenBerg of Rochester
Minn, Carl of Grand Rapids, John of Coldwater, Harry of Port Orchard, Wash., and
Philip of trufant and three sisters, Mrs. Cornelius DeZwaan, Mrs Katherin Sauer
all of Grand Rapids.

   Interment was in Restlawn Memorial Park.
