SOLON RESIDENT DIES

Mrs. Augusta Zank died Sunday at the farm home in Solon township, at the 
age of 79 years. Mrs. Zank who was born in Germany, came to Grand Rapids 
in 1882 and lived in that city for 12 years. They then moved to the farm 
in Solon township where they have lived for 38 years.

Besides her husband. August Zank, she leaves 6 childern, Augusta, Fred, 
August, Martha, Karl and Henry, 13 grand children. Funeral services were 
held Tuesday at 1:30 at that the home and at 2:00 at the Solon church, 
interment being made in Solon cemetery with Rev. Shantz officiating.
