Helen M. Bond, age 88, of Grand Rapids, died Thursday, January 17, 2007 at
Spectrum Health – Butterworth Campus. Mrs. Bond was born February 22, 1918 in
Ensley Township, MI the daughter of Charles and Henrietta (Clarke) Zank. She was
a graduate of Sand Lake High School, had worked at Fisher Body on Alpine Avenue,
and was an avid bridge player. Surviving are two sons and their spouses; six
grandchildren; nine great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
husband Robert in 1981 and a brother Karl Zank. The family will receive friends
Monday from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the
Bliss-Witters & Pike Funeral Home, Cedar Springs, www.blisswitterspike.com.
Pastor Jacob Heerema from Pioneer Christian Reformed Church officiating.
Interment Crandall Cemetery, Ensley Township. Memorial contributions may be made
to the Grand Rapids Ballet. Bliss Witters Pike Funeral Home.
