FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. MARTHA GOODELL HELD HERE SUNDAY

   Funeral services were held at Solon Center Wesleyan Methodist church Sunday
afternoon for Mrs. Martha agnes Goodell, 69, who died last Friday morning at her
home n Solon Township following an extend illness.

   She wa born in Grand Rapids, April 24, 1889, and moved with her parents, Mr.
and Mrs. August Zank, to Solon
township when she was six years of age and had been a resident of the community
since that time. She married Emery Goodell in 1910 at the home of her parents in
Solon Township. Mrs. Goodell became a member of the Solon Center Wesleyan
Methodist church in 1915.

   Surviving are he husband; two daughters, Mrs. Orin (Eithel) Smith of Grand
Rapids and Mrs. Gerald (Neva( Gilmore of Rochester; two sons, Verlin of Grand
Rapids and Elton of Cedar Springs; three brothers, August of Zephyrhills, Fla.,
Henry of Cedar Springs and Charles of Sand Lake; and eight grandchildren.

   Rev. Keith Hubbard officiated at the service and interment was in the Solon
Cemetery.
