The Alton Cemetery is located on the corner of 3 Mile NE and Lincoln Lake NE 
in Vergennes Township, Kent County.  The cemetery is located behind the Alton 
Church.  There is no sign other than the historical site marker located in 
front of the church.

The historic Alton Church building was built in 1868, andk is the only public 
building remaining from the Alton Village.  It was deeded to the Alton Church 
Society in 1925.
