History: Masonic origins has been suggested Grattan Township takes pride in their past and cemeteries many of the old stones have been replaced with a type of concrete as well as all the fence posts and old gate, they even fly the American flag. This cemetery is out in the country landscape on a gravel road not seen by many yet the day we were there the flag was flying at half mast in honor of the death of Former President Gerald Ford.
