Henry C. Hendershott; B. 26 July 1833; D. 08 July 1918

Additional Comments:
Civil War Veteran; 1st Sergeant,age 28, was living in Irving, Michigan when he 
enlisted in Co "K", 6th Michigan Cavalry as a Commisary Sergeant.  Was later 
promoted to full 1st Sergeant & in January 1864, transferred to Co "D", 22 
Veteran Reserve (Invalid) Corps.  He served a total of 1 yr, & 5 Months in the 
6th Michigan Cavalry between August 1862 & Jan 1864.
