Additional Comments:
Civil War Veteran; Corporal, Enlisted in Co "C", 1st Ohio Infantry, @ age 22, 
(a 3 month unit) as a Private.  Then enlisted in Co "C", 44th Ohio Infantry & 
was promoted to full Corporal, transferring to Co "C", 8th Ohio Cavalry 3 Yrs 
Later.  Served a total of 4 yrs & 3 months from April 1861 to July 1865.  
Mustered out @ Clarksburg, West Virginia.  Buried 09 May 1893.  Wife, Caroline.
