Giles Blackman was born in Washington, Wood County, Ohio 10 August 1855
He Died 10 August 1872 in Sparta, Kent County, Michigan
he died on his 17 birthday from Epilepsy.

Additional Comments:
He was the son of Lorenzo D. Blackman and Cornelia (Davis) Blackman and the 
brother of Hattie (Blackman) Shattuck buried in Fairplaines Cemetery, Sparta, 
and the brother of Grant D. Blackman, buried in Portland Cemetery, Portland, 
Ionia County Michigan
