William M. Parks; 1834-1921

Additional Comments:
Civil War Veteran; Served in Co "K", 1st Michigan Engineering & Mechanical.  
Joined as a Private.  Rank out as an Artificer.  1st E&M was organized in 
Marshall, MI, 12 Sep, 1861, & was mustered in 29 Oct, 1861.  This unit 
mustered out 22 Sep 1865, in Tennessee and was discharged in Jackson, MI 01 
Oct 1865.
