Sherman J. Koon; 1835-1893

Additional Comments:
Civil War Veteran; Served as a Hospital Steward, 11th Michigan, Infantry (1st 
Organization), in Co "F" & "S".  Unit was organized in White Pigeon, MI, 24 
Sep 1861.  After service, they were mustered out 30 Sep 1864.  Recruits formed 
into a detachment & transfered to the 11th Regiment, reorganized.
