Wernette Family Monument.  Family members buried on this lot are John Wernette 
(1838 – January 18, 1923), his son Joseph Jabez  Wernette ((April 7, 1868 – 
March 29, 1944), and Joseph J.’s first wife Theresa Neuman (January 30, 1872 – 
August 11, 1907).

John Wernette’s wife Esther “Elizabeth” (Miller) Wernette (1842 – June 9, 
1935) is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Pasadena, Los Angeles County, 
California.  Joseph J. Wernette’s second wife Florence ‘Flossie” (Culbert) 
Wernette (January 20, 1887 – November 17, 1957) is buried in Restlawn Memorial 
Park Cemetery in Grand Rapids.
