J.H. stands for Jehial Hawley, born  8-15-1803, to Philo and Currence Hard, in 
Fairfield, Herkimer, NY

Matilda Hard (maiden name Barker) was born on 8-1-1809 in Herkimer, NY

Jehial and Matilda were wed on 6-10-1824, in Penfield, Monroe, NY
