Michigan USGen Web archives currently has a photo I submitted several years ago
for Isaac Waite, Battery "B" 1st Michigan Light Artillery.  This photo is
incorrect as I recently learned and is actually a photo of another
G-G-Grandfather Asa Sadler of the 15th NY Cavalry.

Isaac O. Waite enlisted in Company "I" of the 3rd Michigan Infantry in June of
1861 with his 3 brothers.  However, he was medically discharged in December of
1861 and sent back home to Michigan.  In December of 1863 he re-enlisted in
Battery "B" of the 1st Michigan Light Artillery where he served until the end of
the war.  The attached photo of Isaac Waite was taken in Detroit in December of
1863 before his Battery was shipped off to Tennessee.
