      Kent County }ss.  
I Certify That on this 28th day of December A.D. 1860, at the town of Ada in 
the County aforsaid, I John D. Edmund joined in MARRIAGE, Margaret McMurray of 
Ada in the State of Michigan aged 17 years, and Earls Gardner of Ada int the 
State of Michigan aged 25 years; that the parties did then and there solemnly 
declare that they take each other as HUSBAND AND WIFE, and that there were 
present as witnesses Robt. S. Edmond of New York and J.K. Withey of Michigan.  
Dated at Ada this 29th day of December A.D. one thousand eight hundred and 
sixty.
