Evelyn JoAnn Merrell
COPPER HARBOR ? Evelyn JoAnn Merrell, 65, a former resident of Copper Harbor 
and current resident of Hadley, Mich., passed away Tuesday, June 6, 2006, at 
Genesys Regional Health Park in Grand Blanc.

The former Evelyn Cobble was born on August 13, 1940, in Bowling, Mo., a 
daughter of the late Joseph and Leona (Taylor) Cobble. She was a graduate of 
Waterford Township High School.

Evelyn was married to Bobby in the Hadley Baptist Church on February 23, 2002.

Evelyn owned and operated Ye Ole Cottage Shoppe in Copper Harbor.

Surviving are her husband, Bobby; five daughters, Katheryn (David) Ozment of 
Sheboygan, Wis., Debra ?Dee? Joan Williams of Titusville, Fla., Jacqueline 
(Daniel) Weeks of Wauchula, Fla., Colleen (Jeremy) Whitmire of Copper Harbor, 
Heather (Michael) Davise of Sheboygan, Wis.; two step-children, Stephen Lee 
Merrell and Kimberly Merrell; two sisters, Carrie (Emery) Davis, Aldean 
(Robert) McLan; brother, Joseph Willard Cobble, Sr.; 14 grandchildren; five 
step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the Erickson Crowley Funeral Home on Saturday, June 
10, 2006, from 10 to 1 p.m. and from 4 to 7 p.m. and again on Sunday, June 11, 
2005, from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Funeral services will be held in the Erickson Crowley Funeral Home on Monday, 
June 12, 2006, at 10 a.m. with Rev. Karen Connell to officiate.

Burial will be in the Copper Harbor Cemetery.
