Eugene E. Crandall Succumbs at Luther

REED CITY, May 8 - Eugene E. Crandall, 74 died unexpectedly last night at his home in Luther. He had been working in his garden and came into the house to rest, dying in his chair. Death was attributed to a heart attack.
	Mr. Crandall was a pioneer lumberman in this region and had lived 44 years in Luther. He had been engaged in the real estate business for the past several years.
	Surviving is a son, Verne Crandall of Detroit, and one grandchild.
	Funeral services will be held at 1 p. m. Tuesday in the home at Luther and at 3 p. m. in Crandall Settlement, near Sand Lake.
