Trucks of Baldwin died Tuesday, Feb. 4 at the Mason County Memorial hospital in Ludington after a three week's illness. She was 79 years of age. Services will be held Friday, Feb. 7 at 2:00 p.m. at Baldwin Congregational church. The Rev. Dwight Jackson of Rockford will officiate. Interment will be in Pleasant Plains cemetery. In lieu of flowers, persons may contribute to the memorial of their choice. Born Lerene M. MacLeod on March 27 1889 at Haakwood, Michigan, she moved to Baldwin in 1914. She was married to Ray Trucks in Scottville on May 27, 1914. She was a life member of the Order of Eastern Star No. 494, a charter member of Baldwin Woman's Club and a member of Fern Leaf Rebekah Lodge I.O.O.F. No. 255 of Baldwin. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Jack (Olga) McClellan; Mrs. Kenneth (Beth) Tripp and Mrs. H. Howard (Norma) Russell, all of Baldwin; a brother, Angus MacLeod of Baldwin; two sisters, Mrs. John (Nellie) Haworth of Spokane, Wash., Mrs. U. P. (Florence) O'Connor of Bellingham, Wash; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Ford (Dorothy) Trucks of Baldwin; 14 grandchildren; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
