Main St., Friday, July 8, 1909, after an illness of several months, of tuberculosis of the nerves. He was born in Ireland 36 years ago, and came to this country soon after his mother’s death. He married Miss Lena Schenck, of Kimball, two years ago last February, and she with her year old baby survives him. She plans to go to her old home as soon as possible. Mr. Fennell was a member of the Cato Lodge No. 215 F. & A.M. of Minden City. The funeral was held on Sunday under the auspices of the Masonic [paper too damaged to read now] Almont Lodge, Rev. Mr. Beane, of Capac officiating, with burial in the Capac cemetery. Until his illness Mr. Fennell had been a railroad man, and forty-five of his friends came up from Pt. Huron on a special train to attend his funeral.
