Obituary of Mrs. Robert Vance, Clifford, Lapeer County, Michigan

        Mrs. Robert VANCE died at her home in Clifford Saturday, May 7; her
 remains were brought to Deford the following Tuesday.  Funeral services
 were held in the M.E. Church.  Rev. BEEDEN preached the funeral sermon and
 she was laid away in the Novesta cemetery.  Mr. and Mrs. VANCE came to this
 country from Canada twenty-five years ago and settled on a farm near Deford
 where they lived until two years ago when on account of poor health they
 sold their farm and moved to Clifford.  She leaves a husband and nine
 children, six sons and three daughters, seven of whom were at the funeral. 
 She was a good mother.  She will be missed by her family and a large circle
 of friends.  She was 68 years old.
