This is a photo of George M. Ferns and his second wife, Sophia Sites.  George
was born in 1842 in Elgin Co, Ontario, Canada and died in 1913 in Lapeer Co, MI.
 Sophia Sites was born in 1862 in Oregon Twp, Lapeer Co, MI and died in 1959 in
Lapeer Co, MI.  Sophia is the daughter of Joseph Andrew Sites (Sitz) and
Barbara.  George and Sophia were both residents of Oregon Twp. and are buried at
Mt. Hope Cemetery.  The photo is thought to have been taken shortly after they
were married in 1880.

Any further information about the Sites/Ferns families would be appreciated.
