These photos were taken at the Attica Cemetery in Attica Township,Lapeer County,
Michigan. The graves are located in the middle of the cemetery. The are the 
graves of the James Hartsell Family, who was the son of George Henry Hartsell,
who came to Lapeer County, Michigan From Oxford County, Ont., Canada, about 1870.  
James Hartsell 1856-1889 / Effie [Folsom] Hartsell 1860-1941 / Son George Henry 
Hartsell 1879-1880 / Daughter Alice Ellet Hartsell 1882-1962 / Son Floyd James 
1885-1886 
Buried in a plot Behind the James Hartsell family there are buried three other
Hartsells buried. Eli James Hartsell 1891-1953 & Wife Sarah Betsy 1900-1993 /
James Edward Hartsell 1841-1915.  I don't know if these two Hartsell families
are connected 
 

Additional Comments:
James Hartsell's father George Henry Hartsell came to the United States from
East Oxford Twp., Ont., Canada in 1870.  He was the son of George and Catherin
Mary [Summers] Hartsell
