W. S. Graves, died January 26, 1874, age 51 yrs, 10 ms (additional inscription
not transcribed.)

William S. Graves was born about March 1823 in Ohio or Michigan, depending on
the census record.  He was married to Rhoda Ann Elliott (burial site unknown). 
according to "The Pioneer Families and History of Lapeer County, Mich" by JD
Ellis, Wm. S. Graves was at organization meeting to form Oregon Twp from
Marathon Twp, April 6, 1846 at the home of William Skinner. Also attending was
Alonzo {Alanson?} Gray, Jonathan S. Gray.
