Carl G. Fischer-Born January 26, 1846 in Prenzlau, Brandenberg, Germany. Died 
October 30, 1909 in Lapeer County, MI.  Son of Christopher Fischer and Anna 
Sternburg Fischer. Baptized as Carl Gustav Fischer. Husband of Helena Alvenna 
Döbler Fischer. Father of Ernest, Charles, Bertha, Mary, Fred, Augusta and 
William. 


Additional Comments:
Carl was a tailor and fisherman in Germany. Immigrant to United States in 1888 
with wife and 6 children on small private sailing vessel that took 3 weeks in 
stormy weather. Settled in Hadley Township, Lapeer County, MI. Farm was 
located at 3400 W. Newark Road.
