and state aforesaid, I did join in matrimony David Poss of Lapeer Lapeer 
County aged twenty one years and Sarah E Hodgkiss of Metamora aforesaid aged 
twenty on years in the presence of Henry Banker and John Moses of Lapeer 
aforesaid, witnesses the 16th day of May AD 1850
