Neddo, 91, of Maple City, died Dec. 23; Martinson Funeral Home, Suttons Bay. Neddo, Clarence A. CLARENCE A. NEDDO, 91, of Maple City, died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006, at his home. Services are tentatively planned for Wednesday, Dec. 27, at the Martinson Funeral Home in Suttons Bay. A full obituary will appear in an upcoming edition of the Traverse City Record- Eagle. Published in the Record-Eagle on 12/25/2006. Neddo, Clarence A. MAPLE CITY — Clarence Alfred Neddo, 91, of Maple City, died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006, at home surrounded by his loving family. Clarence was born Feb. 16, 1915, in Cedar, the son of Charles and Clarissa (Ludka) Neddo. He attended Maple City High School, where be played basketball and won the district championship in 1934. After high school he served in the Civilian Conservation Corps. Clarence married Evelyn Eitzen on Dec. 11, 1941, at Maple City, and this December they celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary. Clarence worked for Cherry Growers canning factory for several years, but did construction for most of his life, retiring in 1975. He was a member of the Maple City Community Church. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; three daughters, Linda Neddo and Janice Neddo of Maple City, and Diane (Charles) Adams of Bellevue, Neb.; four grandchildren, Ken Neddo Jr., Susan (Brian) Rabas, Nathan (Angela) Adams and Kyle Adams; two great-grandsons, Jordan and Jacob Rabas; one brother, Howard (Dorothy) Neddo; a daughter-in-law, Donna (Kenneth) Neddo; and many nieces and nephews. Clarence was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth D.; three sisters, Lydia Goodell, Clara Evans and Lucille Schaub; and five brothers, Lloyd, Clifford, Harold, Wesley and Ward Neddo. Memorial contributions may be directed to Munson Hospice, 1105 Sixth St., Traverse City, MI 49682. Arrangements are with the Martinson Funeral Home of Suttons Bay.
