Wagner Died August 28, 2001 TRAVERSE CITY - Margariet O. Wagner, 88, a lifelong resident of Traverse City, died on Tuesday. She was born July 17, 1913, in Maple City, the daughter of Ralph U. and Jennie (Yeager) Sickels. Margariet enjoyed crocheting, cooking, sewing, going to the casino and playing cards. She is survived by four children, Lois Martin, Joyce (Joseph) Yanosky, Ralph (Linda) Wagner and Keaton (Deana) Wagner, all of Traverse City; stepson, Waldron "Wade" (Caroline) Wagoner of Zypher Hills, Fla.; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Margariet was preceded in death by husbands, Fredrick Trumbull and Goldie Wagner; her parents; a brother, Blaine Sickels; two daughters and a son in infancy. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Traverse City Chapel of Covell Funeral Homes. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Rosehill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Father Fred Foundation or Northwest Michigan Human Services.
