Delonnay Died June 10, 1999 EMPIRE - Frederick F. Delonnay, 87, of Empire, died Thursday at Maple Valley Nursing Home in Maple City. Born July 23, 1911, in Highland Park, he was the son of Fred and Myrtle (Langel) Delonnay. On Aug. 31, 1935, in Detroit, he married Agnes C. Ramboer who preceded him in death in 1997. Frederick was the owner and operator of F.J. Stroup Printing Company in Detroit for 25 years, retiring in 1975. He was a member of St. Philip Neri Church in Empire and an avid fisherman, hunter, photographer and wood carver. He is survived by his children, Patricia Delonnay of Beulah, Michael F. (Barbara) Delonnay of Arlington Heights, Ill., Rev. Lawrence Delonnay of Waterford and Carol (Ralph) Ostrowski of Temple Terrace, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents and a brother, Ralph, died in 1945. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at St. Philip Neri Church in Empire. A wake will be at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at noon Monday at the church with the Rev. Lawrence J. Delonnay officiating. Burial will be in St. Philip Neri Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Maple Valley Nursing Home.
