Born April 27, 1985, in Daejeon City, South Korea, he is the dearly beloved son of Robert W. and Theodora A. (Malinczak) House. David attended Glen Lake Schools and enjoyed drama, participating in the school musicals for some time. He was active in the 4-H of Leelanau, track, cross country, North by Northwest, student council, class officer, journalism, Project Hero, PALS Program. David was a special gift from God and was loved and cherished by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed. Survivors include his parents, Robert and Theodora House of Maple City; grandmother, Ann B. Malinczak; aunt, Greta Craner; great-aunt, Sophia Abratowski; and cousin, Andrea (David) Dilisio. Visitation will be held at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church in Empire on today from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. where a vigil service will take place at 7:30 p.m. A funeral Mass will be at the church on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Father Chad Zielinski serving as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Philip Neri Catholic Church Cemetery. In remembrance, memorial contributions may be directed to the 4-H of Leelanau or the Exposure at Glen Lake Schools in memory of David.
