      GLEN ARBOR - Joann M. Lokay, 83, of Glen Arbor, died Wednesday, April 9, 
2003, at Maple Valley Nursing Home. Born Aug. 13, 1919, in Cicero, Ill., she 
was the daughter of Stanley and Frances Panczak.
      On April 27, 1943, in Fort Lewis, Wash., she married Leonard B. Lokay, 
who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Janice K. Lokay of Rochester, 
N.Y., and Nancy J. (Thomas) Henry of McHenry, Ill.; two sisters, Florence 
Broniarczyk of Arlington Heights, Ill., and Emilie Fultz of Oak Park, Ill.
      Joann was a beloved wife and mother who will be greatly missed.
      A Catholic Burial Rite Service will be conducted at 3 p.m. today at St. 
Phillip Neri Catholic Church in Empire, with the Rev. William Lipscomb 
officiating.
      Burial will be in St. Phillip Neri Cemetery.
      Memorials may be directed to St. Phillip Neri Catholic Church.
      Arrangements by Martinson Funeral Home, Suttons Bay.
